Who We Are

Blue World Solutions, Inc was founded in 2014 with the goal of helping businesses to leverage cutting-edge technology in their product offerings and services. We strive to bring clear value to our clients, while helping to drive products that improve the lives of their customers.

We are engineers and we love leveraging technology to make cool products. In fact, we’ve had the fortune of working on some of the coolest products ever. But most good products take a village, and we can help you to not only build that team but also run it. We are project managers, business analysts, technology gurus, documentation specialists, trusted advisors, and simply friends. We will help you to define or refine your product vision, requirements, and timelines, and make sure that they remain crystal clear throughout the team, from start to finish.

We specialize in management of a diverse range of project areas, including medical device software and hardware, healthcare systems, mobile apps, wireless devices, and telecommunication systems. Where regulation and/or certification is required, we have extensive experience bridging the gap between technical, marketing, legal, regulatory, and business team members to ensure that everyone remains on the same page.

Over time we have also become increasingly passionate about the environmental friendliness of the products we become involved with. Moreover, we have learned that even the most cutting edge technology is of little use if it is not accessible to everyone. Therefore, user friendliness and affordability comprise our final essential ingredients.

Our Team

Dan Picker

Dan Picker has more than 30 years of experience in software, wireless systems, medical devices, mobile app design, product development, and management.

Under Blue World Solutions Dan has served in the capacity of CTO for both public and private wireless companies, and is currently heavily focused on medical devices and apps. Dan is also an advisor to or board member of a number of corporations,

Dan served for 2 years as the Chair of the International Wireless Consortium (IWPC) Small Cell Working Group, a team comprised of more than 120 of the world’s top telecommunications industry corporations.

Dan was CTO of PureWave Networks, and Head of CDMA Wireless Platforms for Nokia.

Dan holds Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering (Communication Theory and Systems) from the University of California San Diego, and a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California Santa Barbara.

Lynn Gottesman

Lynn Gottesman has more than 22 years of experience in systems engineering, digital signal processing, speech coding, software, product development, product management, teaching, and finance.

Lynn has worked for such diverse companies as Nokia, LSI Logic, IBM, Logicon, Scripps Institute of Oceanography, and has served as CFO of a non-profit corporation.

Lynn holds Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering (Communication Theory and Systems) from the University of California San Diego.
